Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle
Who's under the mask?
Destined for Facebook, this ad was designed to first look like an image, then autoplay into a video. On set, we had filmed this shot with a jib, with a real banner, however the bottom had the action visible. It was my job to track the shot, fill in the exposed areas, and create a shatter transition to break the image illusion. I did say shatter, In the end, the shatter transition was too jarring and not in line with the rest of the spot, so it was replaced with a few layers of particular. I also created the endcard.
I was a CG generalist and VFX consultant with regards to the rest of the spot. I did some preliminary matte paintings and advised.
In addition, I was a grip and production assistant on set. I helped light the shots and anything else that was necessary.
